Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors for Margaret L. Wigdahl of McMinnville, who died in her home June 5, 1981. She was 63.
Pastor Curtis Zieske of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate and interment will be in Valley View Memorial Park in Newberg.
Born April 25, 1918, in Columbus, N.D., she was daughter of Andrew and Emily Benson Young. She was reared and educated in Columbus, where she was graduated from high school.
She was employed in a grocery store in Nashua, Mont., where she met John A. Wigdahl. They were married Jan. 3, 1942, in Plentywood, Mont.
The Wigdahls lived in Nashua until 1949, when they bought a store, the Hiway Grocery, in Havre, Mont. They operated that until 1969, when they retired and moved to Newberg.
Mr. Wigdahl preceded her in death in 1971. Mrs. Wigdahl continuted to live in Newberg until 1975. She then moved to McMinnville and had lived with her daughter since that time.
She was a member of the McMinnville Newcomers Club and Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Ellen Wigdahl of McMinnville; a sister, Lorraine Anderson of Glendive, Mont.; and a brother, Andrew Young of Columbus.
